Pixel Rivals is a gallery of living pixel-art dioramas: company duels built from public gossip, movie homages and go-wild scenes. Every scene runs in your browser, loops forever and changes from day to night.

What you are looking at

Each scene is a small world drawn entirely in code: buildings, weather, light, cars and dozens of people with their own little routines. Nothing is a video file on the scene pages; your browser renders every frame live. The clips for social media are rendered from the same code.

Company duels

Duels put two companies side by side as cut-away towers. The jokes come from public reporting: product launches, naming mix-ups, famous quotes, running memes. Every factual gag lists its source on the scene page, so you can read the original story. We show company names only as text in our own pixel font; there are no real logos and no named individuals.

Made with AI, checked by a human

The scenes are programmed with the help of AI coding assistants, and the gossip for the duels is researched with AI assistance. A human reviews every scene and every source before it goes live.

New scenes

A new scene arrives every Thursday at 16:00 Berlin time, alternating a company duel with a movie or place scene. Follow @pixelrivalsart on X for daily clips, or subscribe to the feed.
